I was on only topimax and lamictal and it was not helping w/ anxiety and it got so bad, mixed w/ depression that I started to feel suicidal so my dr added lexapro 10 mg 1x a day about 2 wks ago. It has been making me very tired (I have 2 very busy kids) and sort of foggy when taking it in the am so I've decided to try @ pm. My main concern is weight. I obsess about it and have tried very hard to keep my weight down. It would help me hearing from others about their experiences w/ it. I know my happiness is most important but I will freak out if I gain weight like I did when I took lithium for 3 yrs.

I have only been taking lexapro for a short time but am actually losing weight right now. I looked on two sites and it is one of the few that are not associated with weight gain. It makes me a bit drowsy too so I take it at night. I hope you have success in taking it. So far it is working for me.

Thanks so much bipolar_bear, I looked at Remedy Find, which I always look at when I try something new, but there were so many reviews and they were all so different. I hope taking it at night helps.

Hi,

I took lexapro for years, and did not gain weight.

Good luck!
