Hey,
I'm on 30mg Mitrazapine been on it for 6 weeks now and i don't know if it's them causing this but I've been fine now for a few weeks they were helping but yesterday I've hit a high!!! Slept 3 hours, can't turn brain off, always talking, worked 12 hours without a break and i'm still buzzing. Don't like it. Called the crisis line as nothing else is open and they told me to monitor the mood until the 4th January (next time i see my T) but when i get like this i usually end up hurting myself and do not want that but they couldn't help and i don't know if to stop the tablets but i don't want the side affects of stopping. I don't know. Sorry just needed to vent i guess.

Hey Crazyme,

Can you not call the crisis team again? I do not think this is a good idea that you wait until the 4th. Do you think you can manage the high?

Sorry to hear that Crazylife. If it gets to the point where you are near to hurting yourself, call them again and DEMAND they pull their fingers out and get their arse over to you asap. Or at the very least get them to talk to the duty psychiatrist. Even if your usual pdoc isn't working, there will be one on call somewhere. My local crisis team have their own duty pdoc, but if your area doesn't, there will be one available to them to call.

IMO the crisis team are a joke; a rather unfunny one considering they are meant to deal with people IN CRISIS with potentially fatal consequences if they screw up...

Is there any family or friends you can get to keep an eye on you and support you while you wait for T?

Best wishes,

*Willow*
