I guess my liver eats up some of the med im on, so I only get a portion of the dose im taking. This could solve problems for me. Wanted to tell you all, so you can be aware of this.

My liver "eats up" some of the dose I take, so I don't get the full effect of the medicine. Talk to your doctor about it, they can take a blood sample to see how much of the medicine your on is in your blood. So I take 425 mg of clozaril, only like 350 was in my blood. So I dont get the full effect of the full therapeutic dose i'm taking, because my liver eats it up so fast. Good luck!

I just did some reseach on the mayo clinic site, and elevated LFTs (liver function tests), have been found to occur with Disipramine. Also, cardio events with this drug. I hope you find the right med!
