What was it like? My meds are going to be changed from zoloft to effexor. I'm wondering what this will be like. Actually i'm a bit worried about it. The other meds weren't helping alot.

<font color="purple">I have tried Effexor, but for me it didnt help any. Unfortunately, there can be several trial and error before one finds the right med or med combo. Sometimes one will fit and then later on down the road it wont help anymroe and another round of trying to find what works. Hopefully it will be the one for you. Keep us posted on how it works for you.

I've been on Efexor (and on zoloft too). Efexor was so good for me - I felt the best I have ever felt while on it. Felt normal, whatever that means. Had to stop because I seemed to become allergic to it - skin rash and itching.
Good luck.

Hi there. Use the Search onsite... and you will find posts regarding this med.. we have discussed it before. I was on it for a few years, myself.

I have been on Effexor xr for 6 years and it has been a wonderful med for me. I too made the switch from zoloft which worked for me for 4 years........... I currently take 600 mg (have for a almost 2 years now) so there is a lot of movement with it. I hope it works for you too!
