I haven't got anymore medication. I am experiencing brain zaps. Is this normal? Will it go away? It's rather annoying to be honest.

Did you just run out of medications? Or was this a choice to just go off them cold turkey?

Depends what medication you're on. When I was taking Paxil and would forget a dose, I'd have the zaps the very next day, all day, until I took my regular dose. They'll likely keep occurring until you start taking it again.

Yes the brain zaps will go away eventually, but it varies for different drugs.

I was just taken off Cymbalta and had what I called brain static. They lasted about 3 and a half weeks. Annoying but tolerable.

How are you doing today? Still those completely annoying brain zaps?
I had them when I went off Celexa too fast. SOOO crazy making!! Hope you're doing better now. |
