I was diagnosed several years ago with chronic depression and ADD, along with Bipolar 1. My psychiatrist has tried me on so many different medications and I just can't seem to get to feeling better. It's a dead end every time. I am currently on:

Morning: Addreall XR 20 mg.
Zoloft 200 mg.
Lamictal 100 mg.
Effexor XR 37.5 mg.

Night: Trazodone 50 mg. (sleep)

Ativan 1 mg. (as needed)

I was just wondering if anyone has had any success with a certain medicine or combination of medicine?

Hi, Prozac really helps my depression. I also take Welbutrin. I am Bipolar 2, mostly depression. We recently added Ritalin to the mix to give me a boost in energy and the depression and it helped. I went a few months without being depressed at all. For my Bipolar, I take Lamictal, Topamax, and Abilify. I beleive the Topamax works very well and I know for sure that Abilfy works great for me, too. It really helped with my anger and agression when I became manic. Hope this helps.

It has taken me seven years to find the right mix of meds.
