Saw my pdoc today and he decided because of my severe depression episode the last 6 days, that he will give me a couple adderall pills to try.... I got these last week.

Tried 1/4 pill ( im very pill sensitive) and felt nuthing. The rest of the week i was too depressed to try anything.

Sooooo today he gave me 1 30 mg in office and said hell call me in 3 hrs to see how its affecting me. His concern was he didnt want it to make me have depressed energy to go do something stupid.

1 hr later i had the worst headache of my life, omg i cant even explain i was tdying to drive to get my kids i barely made it. My eyes were pulsating in blurriness from the pain. I managed ( somehow) to make it to their school....called dr and secretary called back and said headache will wear off, you can take tylenol or advil.

Im trying to drive i just cant the pain is too bad and i start throwing up in a bag i had in my lap while driving. I pull over and had to sit there contemplating calling 911 or not with my kids in car cuz i felt like i was gonna die.

Took advil n thank god headache went away. But now im here WIRED as all can be. Uggghhh pdoc calls not too long ago asks if im better. I told him and he said if you want to take it again, just take 1/2 pill! He was more concerned with my mood tho. After headache went away i was feeling more positive but damn! Wat an experience! I dnt know if i want to chance having that again! That was crazy ;(

It's 2am here....STILL cant sleep... I took the damn adderall at 11am!!!!! I have to get up early tomm ( today).

Was your Adderall Extended Release or Regular Release? The regular release should not have much effect beyond four hours.

Im not sure.... He just gave me a sample with 3 and i know they are 30 mg and orange.

Ugh ive about had it with these darn pills! First the klonopin now this!!

I have some Extended Release in here that are orange. My son also has some regular release but those are in his room and he is sleeping so not sure what color they are. But then again there are generics of the drug now available so hard to say without a reference guide.

You have to take adderall early in the morning or insomnia is going to be an issue.

Ugh im NEVEr touchin the stuff again!!!! I still havent slept! Like really?? I dropped girls at school n plopped down in bed n my mind is STILL racing!!

I have tdoc Appt in 30 min. I look like total crAp lol this session should be interesting.

As soon as i pick up my girls im taking a klonopin n nitey nite i go! I dont know jow ppl abuse tbis stuff!

You felt no effects of 1/4 pill. You had too much stimulation when you took 1 pill. Sounds like trying 1/2 pill next time might be just about right.

Adderall is a stimulant and unless you have ADHD it will make you bounce off the walls. I have ADHD and take Adderall 20mg Imediate release three times a day. All it does is make me normal.

I finally fell asleep last night after taking klonopin. Ohhh my gosh what a nightmare! I was lying in bed last night trying to sleep and my head was STILL racing!!

It was def making me bounce off the walls!

I agree 1/2 would probably work best but im not really ready to try again after all this crap thr headache, throwing up, 0 hrs sleep! I need a lil recovery time.

Im so glad for that to be over!
