Chlorpromazine ( Thorazine ) is an anti psychotic drug of low-potency. Used in the treatment of disorganized and psychotic thinking. Also used to help treat false perceptions (e.g. hallucinations or delusions.) Chlorpromazine ( Thorazine ) is also sometimes to treat psychotic children. It may be used to treat sever hiccups or protracted nausea.

i used to hear my ex tell nurses, over the phone, to give a patient thorazine when they were disoriented and combative. i imagine that there would have been a history there that warranted the use of something for psychosis.
