I'm curious as to how others take their TID or QID prescription medications (meaning what times you take each dose). How did you arrive at this particular schedule?
I take QID Xanax, and I chose my times from when I was in the hospital. They would give it out in the morning, 1pm, 5pm and bedtime so when I came home, I followed the hospital schedule (morning, 1pm, 5pm, bedtime). |

Yes, I do try to time my medications--although nobody could exactly set their watch by when I do. Like you, I observed that the hospital tries to keep patients on a schedule. Plus, taking the meds at set intervals helps to keep the same amount of the meds in my body at all times.... I generally do something like 9:00, 4:00, and around 10:00-11:00 (when I haul myself off to bed). I do take one of my meds four times a day--so it's on a different schedule.
