Taking it for sleep, along with ambien cr. I am really hoping to sleep!

Has anyone use it? How did it work for you?

I am going to be on 10-20mg at bedtime

Valium does nothing whatsoever for me but alprazolam and temazepam help me.

Good luck.

I was originally supposed to take alprazolam, but insurance didn't want to pay. Haven't tried the other one.
I am taking ambien cr with the valium, so I guess we'll see how it goes

My insurance doesn't pay for alprazolam either but I get 90 tabs for ~$12.

I take diazepam sometimes as a muscle relaxant for TMJ. I usually take it at night as it can make one drowsy. It's a short lasting med, so I think it could help with falling asleep but it probably won't help you with staying asleep. Maybe that's what your ambien is for. Good luck with it. Hope your sleep improves!

I've gotten close to 8 hours of sleep the last couple of nights. Kind of interrupted sleep last night.

I am worried now because my daughters psychiatrist told me that I need to watch out with the valium because it can seriously reduce the amount of REM sleep you get...

I started beta blockers and diazepam today - only a 2mg dose of diazepam and it did nothing for me - the beta blockers helped alot though.

I wondered how you were finding the valium? I took 4mg in the end and I had such vivid dreams and my mood crashed - so I have not taken any more of them. Hope you have had a better experience.

Ambien quit working for me pretty quickly. I'm on 100 mg of Seroquel XR at night now and it works great. So far none of the side effects I keep reading about, but honestly, remembering the insomnia, I almost don't care. I was only sleeping a couple of hours a night on 4 or 5 nights a week. The other nights I didn't sleep at all. It's a horrible feeling.

Good luck! I know for some people Ambien works for a long time.

I'm onn and off with the valium, I sleep but I don't feel rested and then I am far more tired the next day. My mood has really crashed too. I don't know if that's a valium issue or not
