It made my mom tired, she had to take it at night. I've never been on it, but paxil makes me tired, not that that is related lol (sorry I go off on tangents)

I've been on 100 mg of Zoloft for close to 12 years or so. I take it with breakfast and have not experienced any tired feeling or fatigue with it.
Again, different people react to meds differently. ![]() Have you just begun taking it? Maybe your body is getting used to it.

Zoloft gives The Hubby insomnia. He has to take it in the morning.

I gather you are not taking the trazadone? If you are, that may well be the culprit. Trazadone is frequently prescribed as a single dose in the evening before bed to induce sleep. Depending on how much you are taking when, if at all, it might be worth discussing that with your pdoc ... Zoloft could be unrelated to the sleepiness, or you may still be staging on to the drug and experiencing an early side effect, or it is augmenting the effect of trazadone.
Good luck.

Update....I am much better now...I still only need 50 mg per day...which is great...cause I am still able to continue losing weight at that dose...and it does not mess anything up....
brain fog is pretty much gone now... |

Good to hear you're getting used to Zoloft now.
![]() When my pdoc began Wellbutrin for me...hmmmm...sometime this last Oct/Nov., I had the worst side effects - like "talking backwards" and the feeling of my brain rolling around in my head, and chills. I promptly called my pdoc and he said those are norml side effects, just ride them out. Now I think the meds have all settled in!! And, barring any interaction, they will with you too! ![]()

zoloft made me into a zombie. i became really forgetful on it and sometimes id go into like a trance and stare... and stare.... i slept for only a few hours at night and when i woke up id jump out of bed and look in the mirror because one pupil would always be tiny the other big. no kidding. but i took myself off that med cuz i hated the zombie effect.
