I was taking 30mg of Remeron and 75mg of Luvox for a while but my psych decided to wean me off the Remeron over a three week period (cutting it in half till I quit altogether) and at the same time was increasing my dose of Luvox by 25mg during the transition and another 25mg after I was off the Remeron. Since then, I was taken off the Luvox because it wasn't helping and put on Prozac and Seroquel. The problem is that I've had constant nausea, headache, and insomnia since going off the Remeron. It's been over a month now and the problems are only getting worse. I was in inpatient and they tried me on 100mg of Trazodone to keep me asleep (I wake up 5+ times a night and wake up for good about 6am) but it did nothing for me and they couldn't safely increase the dose any more. Now I'm on 20mg of melatonin and it's not helping either. Has anyone else experienced this?

Wow, what a mixture of meds and a lot of tinkering around. I was on Remeron and was yanked off. Not good. But I didn't have those symptoms. I'm wondering if your problems might be caused more by the other drugs now. I wouldn't think the Remeron effects would last this long.....But I'm no expert, of course.

I second what PAYNE said, if it's been over a month, it's much more likely that these
are effects of the new medications.

What doses of Prozac and Seroquel are you on? I've been on that same combo before.

have you ever had a sleep study done? not saying it's a fix, but waking-up that many times might not just be due to meds.

sleep apnea can cause this. and, you do not have to be overweight to have sleep apnea.

again, not saying this will solve your problems, but just a thought. get it checked if you can.

Getting the right meds is hit an miss, you could spend months seaching and months of side effects before your doc hits the right med. i dont no why when on remeron he had you on luvox, a med not much used because of weak results.

It's beginning to seem like it's in part from the new meds as well. I'm on 20mg of Prozac and 10?mg of Seroquel. Small doses. But we're getting ready to contact my psych about it because it's only getting worse.

The sleeping is slightly better, mostly because of the melatonin I've been taking. It's mostly down to me sleeping through with lots of paranoid dreams.

They put me on the Luvox because it was supposed to treat my obsessive-compulsive behaviors. It helped for a bit. Then it didn't.

Luvox is used on its own for OCD in a very high dose , your doc seem to give you bits of everything which seem strange , prozac is ok for OCD . But you seem to have combos that may cause to mant side effects
