If you're interested in knowing how others have done on whatever med you're taking or considering taking, check out askapatient.com. They allow anyone to review any med they've taken, listing the reason for taking it, the side-effects, and a large comment section.
As in any reviews, you get both ends of the spectrum--those that loved it, as well as those that wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. I find it very helpful to get a general idea of how a med works before deciding if I'm willing to try it.
