I started Abilify last wed and did well wed and Thurs. I thought we had my medication with possible need to titrate it up as needed. Fri, Sat, Sun went downhill and today I woke with SEVERE anger, agitation, anxiety, and crying. (I cried, ok, bawled, for 30 min over a stupid broken light bulb I noticed in my hallway!!!)

I called the Dr. office and they are having me not take it today and tomorrow, and then start again, and call on Friday to report how I feel. My Dr. said he has never had a patient experience anger as a side effect. Oh well, leave it to me and it will be hard! I should be used to it for it is the way it has always been, but I always want different.

I was so hopeful, and now discouraged again. I know it takes time and tweaks, but I was so hoping.. Oh well.

I haven't been able to be around my family today, couldn't wait for my husband to leave to go to work for a month, and have and can only isolate to keep my sanity today. I woke feeling like the DEVIL!!! It is totally horrible!

Guess I'll be ready for next time

I didn't have any positive experiences with Abilify. It did absolutely nothing for me when I started on 2mg, and I ended up at 15mg, with still absolutely zero effects.

If I were you, I wouldn't take it again, but I'm notorious for not following prescriptions :P
