Why must it be such a hassle to get medication refills ? Its very frusterating, luckily the place I go for therapy will be able to cover one of the prescriptions with a program they have to help with med costs. But now I have to find out if that went through alright, and I am trying to get the right refills which is getting to be a huge hassle.

I have an appointment on wednesday so I will stop by the pharmacy and ask what is going on with that but yeah I may have enough to last to the end of the month. However I am running low especially on the valium so I'd like to get refills on time and for it to go smoothly but it doesn't seem to work that way. I guess I am just frusterated. I don't actually see my prescribing doctor or whatever till the end of next month and I certainly don't have a supply to last me that long. Its bad enough I can't even afford it and my mom has to help me pay due to my lack of income(trying to get on SSI though).

Not to mention all this hassle over a medication that may not even prove to work for me....I think the valium helps my anxiety, and the olanzapine seems to help my appetite some and make me generally more mellow but it's more sedating than it needs to be...hoping that side effect decreases some. Not sure I can take the stress of trying to give the meds a chance to potentially help when its hard to even get them to take as directed to see if they work. Just feels like too much on top of all the other stress.

I guess I am kind of ranting but yeah basically I just wish I didn't have to deal with a bunch of stress every step of the way.

Sorry you are having such problems getting your meds. I can understand that it makes a lot of stress for you. I hope things get better.

I was going to call today and see if everything worked out with getting the proper refills...but just the thought makes me too anxious to actually call. I am thinking my best bet is to stop by after my appointment wednesday and ask in person. Its hard for me to explain things on the phone especially if I am anxious, in person is a little bit easier for some reason.

Also I am not even sure If the olanzapine(zyprexa) is going to work out anyways, the diazapam(valium) does help mellow my anxiety if it gets bad. But neither of them do much for the depression. Maybe the olanzapine takes a while to work like anti-depressants but i am not sure. I am thinking I am going to have to spend more time in a psych ward if I want to get this right....but I already have a bill I will only be able to pay if I get on medicaid. Not to mention I would be embarrassed to go in yet again so soon, but I am also sick of being miserable and overstressed wondering how much more I can take.
