I talked to Pdoc last month and she told me to come back in about a month. I scheduled an appointment for a month later. She is out sick. I goofed up and scheduled it the very day that I run out of anti-depressant. Will it be bad if I go without for a little while due to my own incompetence? I have another appointment in a few days. I have only been on it for this one month. So I am new to all this drug stuff. Hence the screw up on my part.
Has anyone else done anything this dumb? I have almost never had a prescription for anything. Also, my doctor had given me the first month's supply. So, I don't even have proof of having a prescription yet. Besides, as you may remember from my last postings, I am scared of drugs. I hesitate to take drugs for hardly anything. But, I like Lexalpro because it makes it easier to get up in the morning, gives me more energy and keeps me from starring at walls.

Hopefull,

I would call the Pdoc's office explain to them what the doctor started you on when you have the follow up appointment that you will be out of Lexapro but that you feel that it really has helped you. They may be able to give enough samples till you see the pdoc or call a prescription to the pharmacy for a short supply till you get in for your follow up.

Good luck

Contact your pharmacy and have them call the doctor for at least a few pills to get you through. Let us know what you decided, ok? Tc

I saw Pdoc. She gave me a prescription for Lexapro and I picked it up. So I can go back to it tomorrow. I had only two days without. So, its still in my bloodsteam. I cried quite a bit today and haven't slept good for about three or four days.

I forget to refill my drugs all the time. It's actually part of my PTSD. Plus they are so expensive that I can't afford them some times. A friend of mine takes seroquel too and she loans me some.

I discovered that a friend takes my pills too and thought about that idea my self. But, it felt rather wrong. I will try to do better about keeping it striaght. Besides, it is not the end of the world if I cry my head off sometimes. I had a good cry today with the anti-depressant.
