I am having trouble with depression and sleeping. Is it better to take effexor in the morning or at bedtime?

Now I take it at bedtime, because I've been on it so long. At first, I had to take it in the morning, because it made me hyper. Everybody is different, so you will just have to experiment for yourself.

I began it at night, and couldn't sleep at all..so moved it to the morning. It worked pretty well for me for a few years.

It really does not matter if you take this medicine at night or in the morning, what matters is that you pick what works best for YOU and that YOU take the medicine at the same time every day.

Good Luck......................
