I'm just curious what your general reaction to either (or both if you've been on both), has been. I was just put on these both, Wellbutrin at 150mg, and Tegretol at 200mg

I'm on Wellbutrin, and never had any side effects from it, maybe a headache the first time. Other than that I think it has worked great for me, in the side effect department. It can cause you to lose weight though, I've never had that problem (I def don't need it). It also has a low side effect for sexual problems. As for the other drug you mentioned, I've never been on that before. Just be careful with Wellbutrin though, it has been known to cause seizures (rarely though) at a high dose. Hope that sorta helped you.

I was on Wellbutrin a couple winters ago (it was added to my other meds for bp) when I fell into a depression. It worked really well. I was able to get off it in the spring (have some SAD). I didn't have any side effects.

Now, a friend of mine tried Wellbutin because Zoloft was blunting her sexual feelings & she had a really bad reaction. She "felt like she was going crazy" within 4 days & had a panic attack. She ran back to the Zoloft--sex be damned.--Suzy

Never had a problem with Welbutrin...other than that aggravating slight headache now and then. Very subtle.
I was on Zoloft while taking 300 mgs. of Welbutrin and the Zoloft made me sorta hyper and messed with the sex a bit. Didn't like it!
