Hi everybody

I just got a brand new med for my Ocd: Sertraline.
my dose is relatively low (25 mg a day for a month, then we'll bump it up to 50 mg) Is anyone on it? and if you are, how has it worked so far for you?

Hello,
I was on it for about a week. For my OCD. It made me pretty sick tho, so it's not for me. Hopefully it works for you.
Thanks for this!

Zoloft is typically used for MDD, but can help OCD. For me I stopped it since it gave me brain fog...for OCD Luvox/Luvox CR is much more effective. Best of luck!

I'm on it along with a few other meds for Schizoaffective/Bipolar. I'm on a low dose because anything more than that makes me manic. It's worked great for me

I've taken sertraline/Zoloft for years, and it does help me. You must take it with food or milk as it can irritate your stomach, and that is why they start you on a low dose. I've had good results with it and never noticed any side effects. If you have any concerns about it be sure to discuss it with your Dr.

I took sertraline for a short period of time. I decided to get off it for my own personal reasons. I never saw a big improvement but I didn't get any bad side effects either. Except weaning off. Horrible dizziness

Thanks everybody

So far, first week in, I haven't had any side-effects…well, except yawning a lot, any of you experience this?
