I've been on Remeron before. It works really well for my depression. I stopped it last time because of the horrible weight gain. I have lost 20 pounds of the fifty I gained and now my doc wants me back on it.

I need something to feel better. My depression is horrible right now but I hate the weight gain. I'm already obese and this just makes it worse.

I'm sorry to hear about the weight gain issues but it's nice to know there is something that can help your depression! Hopefully this time the weight gain will not be that much of an issue... I know that's probably wishful thinking as I know all too well how hard it is to keep weight off on antidepressants! Hang in there! I really hope it helps your depression again!

Catch 22. What to do. Similar to the long term sexual side effects with SSRI's and SNRI's. If I complain my pdoc just says ...oh well
