It could be the dose. I've made myself start taking them, Im just being uber strict about what I let myself eat. I talked to my Pdoc about this briefly, and he wants to keep on with the zoloft because he "thinks" it's helping. So I'm going to take his word and stick with it, but if this keeps on a few more weeks then I'll have to switch.

Thank you again for all the advice and support

*xoxo*

I know it's going to take time. I've been in formal treatment for about a year and a half now, which has included hospital stays and all. I'm definately hoping I will eventually get to where you are now, with more good than bad. I dont expect all good, because with out bad there is no good right? I'm still stumbling, but I'm trying to find the path again
Thank you so much for the kind words and light at the end of the tunnel

*hugs*

Kelly

You are lucky! I wish it did this for me! I'd be so much happier if it did! I havent heard anything about it being used as a weight loss drug yet, but who knows. I just know I wond be signing up to take it for that.

I've tried Lexapro. It was actually the first med I tried. I lost weight, but eventually after a year it pooped out and I found myself wanting to go jump in front of a train again.

It definately isnt fair when we get punished for trying to help our bodies! Ugh!

I'm giving the zoloft a little more time as he suggested, but if it doesnt stop making me gain and/or make me feel better, things will have to be switched! Thanks!

What mg are you on of Zoloft?

It can cause weight gain but it's rare, mostly people loose weight have have poor sleep habits, eating habits etc.
