Switching from Abilify to Latuda

Please share your experiences of switching from Abilify to Latuda. TIA

Hello! I was on Abilify along with my prozac at first since my pdoc believed that I had depression. However, he did believe that in case it was type 2 bipolar, the Abilify could help out with that as well. The Abilify caused my memory and focus to worsen a little bit so we decided it would be best to get off of that and that also because of my actions and feelings and such during the time that I took it, that I should instead just switch over to Latuda and lithium since it's clear that I may have bipolar type 2 given my mood swings. I will admit that I've had an increase in sui and homicidal thoughts, (that I would never act on), however, this may be given to me just going through a depressive episode. I'm hoping that helps some, sorry if it didn't. Have a great year and I hope your meds work out for you!
