I recently have been prescribed both wellbutrin and a low level of lithium to climb out of a hell hole of depression. I'm wondering if anyone else has experience with lithium being used for this purpose.
I have had experience with lithium years ago in the past that was horrible because of side effects at a higher level. I have hope that it will help though. I would appreciate anyones thoughts and ideas about this. Thanks ![]()

I took a low level of lithium a long time ago and had no problem with side effects. Maybe since you will be taking a lower dose you won't have any problems either.

Lithium is often used in low doses to treat depression that didnt respond to other medications. Lower doses, so you should experience the hellish side effects you did with a larger one.

Thanks everyone for your input.
I hope if you decide to try it pinkflower, that it works for you. So far the side affects aren't too bad, just peeing alot and thirst is the bigone. I found a website last night that talked alot about lithiums effectiveness for depression so that was reassuring.
