Taper down. How long have you been taking it? Make sure to discontinue in the presence of a medical professional.

I'm not saying to do it, but I have cold turkey'd abilify several times. I am also on a massive dose of 30mg and had no withdrawl symptoms. But that is me.

As Anxiety Master said though, are you doing this under the supervision of a medical professional? You should never just stop taking medication without first consulting them. They will know best whether you need to taper or can stop straight away. So my advice is to do that. Is there a reason you are wanting to come off your medication?

I stopped my Abilify 20mgs right away after I got muscle twitches and tension in my legs. I didn't taper down and I was fine. And 2mg is a very small dose so I wouldn't worry too much.

Successfully stopped the abilify . I found it was increasing my anxiety. Feeling the difference slowly already. Thanks to all for your advice
