I am going to wean myself off meds. I have tried this route for the last 3 months and it hasn't improved much.
All that has changed is in the sexual department. I was always long on the action and now I can't even get an orgasim.
Maybe I was born nervous and just have to deal with it.

Mod's feel free to move this post if it is inapproiate.

I take 100 mg of Zoloft daily and 4 mg Diazapam at night for sleeping. I never could sleep very well and I just am going to have to deal with it.

I'll still hang around here and try to help out and get help if I need to.

I hope your plan works for you. If not, keep trying to find what works for you.

Hey..sexual matters are not something that should be inappropriate unless we live in some sort of weird place that believes that normal part of life is unspeakable.

HEY! I am off SSRI's for the first time in 14 years. The naughty bits work again for the first time in years. I thought it was this, I thought it was that..now I know...it was the SSRI's.

Won't have to get into details just tell you it would not work. The frustration, embarrassment, were just as depressing as chronic depression. THEY..the docs, should warn you of this more than they do! They should monitor this more than they do.

I am so fed up with the medical community I want to scream.

Yes, I had a guy do a jam up surgery on me once but other than that I find no caring, nothing from medical folk. And, please understand, I won't go to a doctor unless I am unconscious or in so much pain I'm about to pass out.

I am afraid I'm about to go off on one with my opinion of their McDonald's style of medical care.

Hi Guy, yes, I hope you do hang around. I too just got off one of my meds. I hope it goes well for you. Have you checked in with your doc about the best way to come off the meds?

Doing good so far. Reduced to 50mg Zoloft and only take Diazapam as needed for sleep. Try to take just 2 mg instead of 4 mg.

Also started vigorous exersize program again. Ran 2 miles today and walked 1.

Just don't want to take medication anymore. I'm somewhat of a naturalist.
