I am on day two of zoloft but find myself anxious. Is this normal and does it go away. Hard to concentrate at work.

A book that I have mentions "nervousness" under patient education for Zoloft. I would certainly talk to your doctor about any increase in anxiety that you may be feeling. I hope you find a way to cope with the anxiety and reduce or get rid of it in time.

Hi SecretGarden,

I agree with Hopefull. Make sure you tell your doc what’s going on. I took Zoloft for about 5 years and recently had it turn on me. You might just be feeling a side effect that will subside soon. But either way, I’d keep close communication with your doc.

Best of luck with it all. ~ Bee

I'm on Zoloft but try to keep in mind that with almost any medication it takes time to work. It took two weeks for me before major side effects went away and it took a few months before I felt no side effects. You should still keep close touch with your doctor and tell him whats going on but anti-anxiety and anti-depressants don't work overnight.

Good luck
