My suggestion is if you would like to discontinue this medication to speak to your doctor that prescribes it. Stopping a medication like Cymbalta suddenly or without medical direction can be dangerous and cause ill side effects. Perhaps you should think about why exactly you want to get off the medication and discuss this with the doctor. Are there unpleasant side effects? Is it the cost of the medication? You and your doctor can decide what is best for you.
