After reading from quite a few people that they preferred klonopin to ativan, I asked and was switched to it. After five days taking only .25 mg twice a day, I'm starting to feel better, but I have only wanted to sleep for five days.

If it is what has made me sleepy, do you think I'll be less sedated with time? I wa supposed to increase to .5 mg twice a day but was so sleepy I was afraid to.

it probably is what is making you sedated and yes you will adjust. You should talk to your doc or pharmacist, but i would imagine that it should be ok to hold off on increasing the dose until you do adjust. You should also ask your doc as to whether the increase is even necessary... i mean once you adjust to the sedation, if you feel better then why would you need more?

i did prefer ativan as i find that klono stops doing much for me after a while... but there is some other reason why my pdoc stuck me with it.. can't remember why..Klonopin question
