My pdoc and I have a pretty good relationship. I just say something like...I heard of drug X--what do you think?
I have been on so many antidepressants, the last time we switched, he asked me which one I thought worked best and thats the one he gave me.

Yea, when I see my pdoc he tends to listen pretty well; Ill make suggestions if I have one. Just be open, honest, upfront. State your case and you'll probly be more listened to if u remain calm and state the facts and your reasoning and opinions instead of getting mad or something and insisting on something... I guess I'm saying to try to be as professional and mature as possible on their level and they'll listen. Trust me; don't frett over it. Good luck and Take care, Danielle
