Hey, welcome to Pysch Central.

Zoloft. It worked very well for a period in my life when I had more prominent anxiety. I had to resort to other meds because it did, like it does to other bipolar patients, make me manic.

Other than watching out for that, which I'm sure your doctor would have considered if it is a problem you have, just look out for the more common side effects such as drowsiness, nausea, stomach cramps... just anything out of the ordinary.

Yes I'm taking Zoloft for anxiety and depression... I'm starting at 25 mg and working my way up to whatever it takes to start feeling better..
Thanks for this!

The first time I took Zoloft it mad me manic but now that I'm on a mood stabilizer I am back on it. I feel pretty good though think I need an increase. As previous poster said just watch for anything out of the ordinary. Good luck. I hope it works for you.

I'm on Zoloft, 100mg, but that was for my depression before my bipolar diagnosis. It worked really well with no side effects for me. Good luck and I hope it works for you.
