hi. ive never taken it, but i do seem to recall reading that it becomes less sedating as the dose goes up. i forget why. i think antidepressant doses start at 15mgs or so. please talk to your doctor. maybe 15mgs could help mood and anxiety and also help you sleep?

7.5 mg is often used for sleep. AD properties start at 15 mg. The more AD you are getting as the dose increases the less sedating it will be (ie I took 60 mg and had great AD response but no sedation).

Dies anyone have issues with irritability and/or biting and picking on their fingernails and cuticles? I just started taking mirtazapine for sleep, and only 1/4 of a 15 mg pill.
