I tried it a few years ago didn’t help me at all, my daughter takes it and it works wonders for her.

It never started working for me to begin with. Everyone is different though.

Unfortunately all medications can stop working. I had a "good" med stop working after just three months. It's annoying to say the least. And yes to we're different, Buspar actually gave me anxiety. Back in the days when I took it they said you must take it with an SSRI for it to help, but I think they changed that and give it on its own or part of another combo.

I couldn't take buspar as it made my vision blur badly. I did take escitalopram (its called cipralex here). That med is prescribes for anxiety here. I had to go up to 30mg before I felt the benefits though. So theoretically once you have been taking that for a little bit it should also help. But everyone is different. I tried a lot of meds before finding something that works.

Thank you for answering my queries. I just had one more question, so does this mean you're currently taking 2 ssri's, lexapro and zoloft both? |

No. Sorry my last post wasnt super clear. I take Zoloft now instead of lexapro. I was taking lexapro for anxiety and depression but it didn't manage my depression. They switched me to Zoloft in the hospital.

O i get it now. Hope things are better for you now.. Depression is much more dangerous than anything else i've ever come across..It took me 4 ECT sessions to get out of that black grey cloud that refused to leave me at any cost.
