Your question is rather vague. What type of diet pills and what type of other medication? My advice is to check with a pharmacist on what's a safe or unsafe combination.

I'd go with Airway's advice...check with a pharmacist.

Please be careful!

Diet pills are not a good idea at all; can make your symptoms much much worse:

Anna,

Talk to your pdoc about your weight gain and if it is due to your antidepressant(s). He/She may be able to suggest something. There is an anti-seizure medication called Topamax. For many people, they lose weight like gangbusters while taking it. It didn't work for me.

Of course, the downside is having to take another Rx.
