Anyone experienced side effects on it? At what dose?
Cymbalta made me nauseous, at 20 mg.
Lyrica made me dizzzzzzyyyyyy at 50 mg.
I don't tolerate meds well.

I wouldn't take Paxil if I were you. I found it extremely addictive, and it made me rash and doing things I normally wouldn't do, and talking really loud, and I was so manic.

Plus, coming off it was hell. I had hallucinations, fever, zapping feelings in my head, and I became extremely depressed and suicidal. Everyone is different, but thats my experience with Paxil...*shudders*. Paxil, any side effects?

I'm currently on Paxil at 40mg headed to 60mg in another week. I do ok on it I guess. I'm not feeling any better yet but maybe the entire cocktail together will help. I haven't suffered any side effects from Paxil and have been on it before. I experienced the same thing with cymbalta. I was taking 60mg and vomiting everytime I took it.
I haven't had any trouble with weight gain from Paxil ever but I know some people say that is a side effect for them.

Hope you find something that works for you soon.

Meds affect different people differently. I had terrible nausea on Zoloft, and it turned me into a total zombie at higher doses. I had no side effects at all on Paxil.... unless lack of libido is a side effect.

I'm on Cymbalta right now, and the initial nausea went away, though I still have very little appetite sometimes.... the appetite problem could be Xanax related, though.

I took Paxil for over a year and it worked wonders until it eventually caused me to feel NOTHING. I was like a zombie, feeling no emotions neither good nor bad. I was completely indifferent about everything around me. My doctor said this is normal after long-term use of Paxil. And withdrawl from Paxil was absolute HELL. It's one of the worst meds to come off of in fact there have been lawsuits related to this. Anyway I hope it works out for you; if not then I recommend Lexapro. Good luck!

I had two friends on paxil and both gained quite a bit of weight. My girl friend gained 25 lbs and my guy friend gained 40.

I"m going through paxil withdrawal right now. I've found this site:
www.paxilprogress.org to be amazing and these people can tell you things that you never even imagined about paxil and paxil withdrawal and we all stick together like family on there. I was coming on here until I learned that my anxiety problems were being caused by my withdrawal from Paxil. It is VERY real and a living hell to come off of.
