Anyone else get wicked heart burn/a is reflux from zoloft or any med for that matter?
I usually take my meds with dinner because of this tonight I forgot and the pain feel like I'm being eaten from the inside out. I used to be on prescription meds for reflux, but I'm trying to lower meds, not increase. Any tips or tricks? Nothing seems to work except sitting up for an hour and that sucks when I'm tired. ![]() |

I had that extremely bad too when I was on zoloft, it drove me crazy. Not sure what helped it, I know I always had to eat dinner with it because like you said it is like being eaten from the inside out!
Have you asked your doctor for any tips? They may have some ideas for you without having to add on more meds. Hope you are able to get some help with it

No experience of zoloft, but (so far) my own meds haven't caused too many problems - however I'm familiar with GERD. Once the heartburn starts, you might be able to suppress the symptoms a bit with otc zanax, but tbh, the only ways I know to avoid the possibility are some hours of starving the digestive system of anything likely to cause the issue, or stay on some dose of one of the otc proton pump inhibitors all the time. So, still pharming, but at least on meds that are all available on generics now.
