I've just been started on a low dose (250mg BID) of depakote for PTSD symptoms. It's been making me very nauseous and causing vomiting. Is this temporary-- should I continue taking it??

Hi mick07. I have been on Depakote for over 4 years. I didn't have the symptoms you are experiencing, but had some serious weight gain.

Heres the PsychCentral link for more information on Depakote

http://psychcentral.com/meds/depakote.html

Good luck!
