I have been noticing something and will tell my psychiatrist.
I first started taking Seroquel I think back ion 1999. Over the years I have been able to decrease it, and get of of it. I went back on it last year, then off for a few months, and have been taking 50mg at bed with my Librium since April of this year.
My question is, has anyone found that Seroquel has affected their depression or made it worse? I thought this med was used for bipolars as well as for schizophrenia, as an antipsychotic, so I'm wondering if the chemicals in it are making me "come down=depressed" overnight, because when i wake up ion the morning, i am really depressed, really bad.
This is new for me.
Has anyoe found their depression increase (all other things ruled out) when taking this Seroquel? Right now I'm not too keen on this drug....

Seroquel really did not work for me. I felt drugged and it made me feel more depressed--kinda like you are describing. It got rid of my anxiety, but I could not do anything because I was moving too slow and just did not care.
