I have been on Spravato since August 2020. Started at 56 twice a week for two weeks. Then to 84 twice a week for two weeks. THEN to 84 three times a week from early September til now. But I've been having major anxiety and panic attacks (which Spravato does not treat) and just stopped cold turkey Spravato. And that's when I realized how much it really was helping with my TRD, and went back to my doctor and said that yes I wanted to go back on it. Biggest problems to me is getting a ride there and a ride home. Plus the inside of my nose has gotten really raw sore as hell. The only other thing that helped with my depression was TMS but my stupid insurance company will only pay for one session per lifetime. With the amount of hospital stays and the crazy cost of Spravato, it would be way cheaper to let me do TMS a couple times a year but whatever. The savings program that Janssen provides plus my insurance makes Spravato an easy choice. While taking Spravato one week I was ecstatic because I vacuumed and swept my house twice in one week. I have 3 golden retrievers and should AT LEAST be done twice a week but before Spravato I could go weeks without vacuuming! Its a small victory...but hopefully the start of more victories.

It's great that Spravato is helping you. But what is TRD?

I would assume Treatment-Resistant Depression (but I don't know).

Thanks WA, I think that's correct.
