You're doing well if you're on the 6th day. The withdrawal symptoms should start to subside soon.

I have quit numerous meds cold turkey and it usually takes about a week, week and a half, before it gets better.

I'm assuming normal Tylenol isn't doing anything to help the pain? Maybe your doc can prescribe some Ibuprofen that will help you get over the rough spot with the headaches.

I'm rooting for you!!!!

prozac headache?

I feel to just give it some time, it should go away, meanwhile if you can tolerate Aspirin, try taking some Extra Strength kind, and even have some coffee, that helps me when I get headaches, fortunately not often.
I still would of contacted my doc before stopping any meds. that is what one should do, one should never just stop meds without calling or seeing you doc first, especially cold turkey, I personally feel by contacting the doc first nasty side effects can be prevented to some extent.
Whatever, I wish you luck and hope for better days to come soon prozac headache?

I took some tylenol and it didn't help. I waited and then took advil. It worked great! My doctor knows that I am quitting cold turkey.

Fayerody,
Do you like green tea? Either hot or cold it is so good for speeding up the metabolism. Maybe it would help you during this time while you are coming off of Prozac? Lifesavers helped me because it was something in my mouth at all times.

Good luck,
Jessica
