Did you lose or gain weight on it? I think thats my only option if/when I go off my Prestiq. Unless I choose not to go on anything new.

For me it was weight neutral, but I was on only 10 mg anyway.

My former roommate was on the highest dose of Prozac for MDD for many years. He is very skinny despite being in his 60s. He is super active, though.

I lost weight. But I got very manic and tend to lose weight when instead of sleeping and eating I do meth and run around Home Depot parking lots til the cops come.

I was on it when I was 13. It was the very first med I was put on. I felt sick in the morning and I called it "morning sickness" because I didn't know what med side effects were at the time. But that was back in 2006 when I wasn't eating much at all because of body image stuff. I did lose 4 pounds in between pysch hospital visits and the staff freaked out a bit.

Are you still on the amitryptyline? I think there’s an interaction between Prozac and it.

Yeah but it wouldn't hurt to go off that either. Its making me so tired all the time. These days I can't function.

Maybe even once you come off you you'll surprise yourself and find without the sedation you might think you can try a while without the prozac
