i was just recently prescribed Zoloft, to treat severe depression. However, I was reading through the website and I couldn't find an article on what happens when used with alcohol. I do drink here and there, and I was wondering if that is dangerous while on Zoloft.
thanks; Vanessa

I had the same exact question when I started on Zoloft. I do have to say, Zoloft does seem to lower my alcohol tolorance.

Been there done that and it was no fun.

In fact I stopped taking the Zoloft so I could drink...sort of the *Devil I knew* if you will.

The Zoloft made my anxiety worse so when I drank to relax from the Zoloft the next day was I ever in the muck. I was not depressed per say but boy was I when I mixed the two.

Bad juju for sure.
