I just started taking Prozac (20mg) last night...And it's made me extremely tired/sleepy/spacey. It sucks because while I'm almost always tired, this is different. Rather than being just tired, there's the sleepy factor and spaciness.
I know that these are common side effects, but I hate it...How long does this usually last? |

a few weeks if that .I haven't had many side effects from Prozac unlike other meds. where the side effects were very bad .

So, it's not bad anymore. Actually, each day, I'm less tired than the one before...Except today, but that's because I only slept for maybe 5.5 hours last night since I was hanging out with a friend.
I'm thinking that this is good. I'm still not really sure that I want to be on meds...But, I did say I would give it a try, and actually, even just being more awake is something helpful. |

when i first started on prozac 20 mg i was so spaced out for a few weeks then felt great then something happened in july and i was put up to 40mg i went down the hill so fast was wanting to kill myself, then within a few weeks i went up to 60mg, A year on and the depression is still here the feeling of emptyness is awful, i recon im amune to them now, just give it time and u will feel fine in a few weeks. I hope. love xxxxxxx
