Ok. . .just had a dr appt and I actually left with some hope of relief!! He kept me on celexa but didn't think atavan (sp) was right for me and suggested I start topamax to stabilize my crazy mood swings. I just went to pick up the rx and found out I can't have it. . . $209!!! Thought things were looking up. . .

Guess, I'll call on Monday to see what he suggests next. .

I'm just really bummed. I actually started to cry when I was told. I just got my re-fill of celexa and left.

Anything comparable to topomax that wouldn't cost as much? I don't have a full insurance plan and just can't afford that figure right now.

Please keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm supposed to get hired on full-time at my current job and I'll switch insurance at that point. Hopefully, this new plan will cover the rx. Right now my moods are really effecting every aspect of my life. I can't function!!!

Have you tried www.pparx.org ? They might be able to help you find a program that could pay for your meds. Good luck.
