Has anyone here who's taken Cymbalta for a while experienced increased appetite? It's just started up for me, and if it doesn't go away SOON I don't want to be on this drug. All the other anti-depressants I've ever been on have caused weight gain, and I just can't take that again.

Besides, it's not working for me, and I am no longer holding out much hope for that to change.

It's so new... few people are on it, lots of pharmacies don't even carry it yet. But I'm on it... supposedly decreased appetite can be a side effect... I haven't had an increased appetite I know. I've been on it for a week so far, and it's working well aside from the initial boost w/ impulsivity I've mentioned elsewhere, it's certainly better than what I was on, with much fewer, if any, side effects. I'd say my appetite/weight has gone down a little, I'm not fatigued throughout the day, and my tremors are highly decreased.
But everyone responds differently. I hope it's gone better for you since you wrote this post.

I've just started on this in addition to Li but I am very skeptical of it since its so new and lacks a lot of history. If youve found any good news about it, send a response.
