Has anyone had any problems with taking trazodone 50mg? I was prescribed this and I only took one and had bad reaction to it. It took hours to get to sleep and I kept waking up through the night and the next day I was in and out of naps. It took over 24 hours to get the effects to cease. I don't know if I should take it again or not. I wanted a pill to help me get to sleep not stay asleep all day long.

I take trazadone. It works great for me. I go right to sleep and deep sleep all night. I started at 100 mg and I'm now down to 25 mg. No side effects.

My doctor told me to take 100mg for a few days to see how it works. I took 75mg (1.5 pills) and it took awhile to get to sleep but I sleep fairly good. I got 5 hours of solid sleep, and then was up abit and went back to sleep for a few more hours. I guess it will work, but it is the getting to sleep that is hardest for me.

trazodone has to be taken 15 minutes before you go to sleep.it helps you all to fall asleep but wont help you stay asleep. It gives most people very weird dreams as a side effect. also for men there a other side effect Ill let you firgure it out for your self.
