My Phych. put me on Wellbutrin. I am already on Gabapentin, Lamictal, Seroquel. Since I have been on the Wellbutrin I have been full of rage and anger one minute and sad and crying the next. Is this common side affect of Wellbutrin? The only reason he gave it tome was to help me have energy during the day because of the mg of the Seroquel. But before the Wellbutrin that was the only thing wrong. I can deal with the Seroquel better thatn what I am going through right now.

lashaine, I take lamictal and wellbutrin. I have taken the wellbutrin for so long that I can't remember if I ever had side effects...I know I am not bothered by them now. Sometimes, when I start a new med, I need a week or so to adjust. But, if you don't feel better soon, maybe you should call your doctor. I hope it works out for you because Wellbutrin does help with my energy level and depression. I am pretty happy with it. Good luck!

Lashaine...it's been a while since I've been on Wellbutrin, but I don't remember it effecting my emotions in that way. I say listen to your body. At one time I was on an anti-depressant that was making my depression worse and the doctor kept telling me this was impossible. Eventually I had a melt down and became suicidal for a time. It can be frustrating to have to use trial and error until we get the right medication, but I feel like I'm in pretty good shape today.
