i know ive been misbehaving with my meds, mixing things i shouldnt.....

took lamictal for about a week along with klonopin, then another doc added depakote and ativan......

the next day, i was sneezing all crazy, my tongue was white.....went on for a couple days... til i quit them all.

just wondering if those were bad signs?! lol i think the answer is yes... but now i dont know which one caused the problem cuz they were all fairly new to my body.

I don't get it -- why would you do something like that? Logically, it makes no sense to me. If you're not going to take care of you, then who will?

jen... i'd say stick to the depakote, ativan, klonopin, zyprexa combo and take them properly. You were doing well for a while. I hope things get better for you.

If you're doing bad either way, why don't you just take them and atleast have a chance of feeling better? I've been there before. With bipolar its up and down, it's what it's about. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't do what you can to prevent and atleast calm these ups and downs, if not for you, then for your family. They need you. You need them.

I wish there was more I could do for you and more I could do to make you see clearly that there is another side and that is calm. No bad feelings, maybe not great feelings but a state where you can let your hair down and don't have to worry about these intrusive thoughts as much.

Please take care of yourself, and consider taking your meds correctly.

I wish you peace and soothing thoughts.

Stay safe,
Kimberly.

Myself personally have had bad reactions to medication combinations, in which I have a pdoc who prescribes these medications, I then approach the treatment team about my side effects in which the pdoc is able to know for the most part my symptoms, and which med or med combination is causing the side effect.

If concerned about toxic, I would and have gone to the emergency room at the Hospital to have blood medication levels and be medically cleared if needeed.

Good luck.

um, jen, i'm not sure if you're aware of this, but you must want to get better or you wouldn't be here looking for encouragement... even if that's not what you think you're doing.
