Mine always says, “I’m curious...” or “this may sound totally crazy, but...”. She’ll take a deep breath before she’s about to ask a question, so I stop talking to hear it. While she’s thinking, she stares at the ceiling and her eyes go back and forth. I want to know what’s up there that gives such guidance!!

This is such a fun thread!
At first when my T would cuss, I thought she was only doing it to "mirror" my words (like I would say "I feel ******" and she would respond "What is making you feel ******?") but then she started just cussing when she spoke, not in response to anything I was saying. I love it, it humanizes her and I have a bit of a potty mouth so I feel more comfortable expressing myself
I also love when she gives little asides. She is pretty blank slate, but will sometimes tell a short, goofy story about something she did over the weekend or something her friend said, if it's relevant to the conversation.

My former therapist and I share the same humor. I spoke to her on the phone tonight and we were laughing about the Kristen Bell video that made its rounds on PC. She told me she had a funny one to share with me. Along with a nice email about our conversation she sent me this video

and I loved it.

Another one is when t was running a women's trauma group I was in. He was asking everyone for updates from the week and I kept quiet due to my shy awkward nature. After everyone gave their updates, t turned to me and said "and junkDNA has been elected to public office!" The group was all ooo ahhh, congrats. I had to tell them t just made that up

Another time I was hearing voices in t's space heater sound. The next week I told t i wasn't hearing them anymore in the noise . T said well that's because I took the speaker out of it
