LLT I hope you are OK. This is a good question. One I could never quite answer myself, hence I've always chosen email. There were many times last year when I was feeling really bad, having flashbacks, things just felt so out of control but everytime I thought about calling I just couldn't do it. I would end up saying...what can she possibly do to ease my symptoms? Then convinced myself the answer was NOTHING!
Thanks for this!

Hope you are doing OK, LLT. The whole phone thing can be so difficult--I wonder if therapists know what a difficult issue this is for many clients?

hi guys

Thanks, yea im fine. I've had this crazy energy flowing through me. Almost like an agitation both physically and mentally, which has been progressively building over the last couple of weeks and Im getting scared about having a repeat of something that happened last summer.

Then, I was ready to rip my boss a new one yesterday, which is super unlike me. i got super flip with her and had every cuss word known to man at the tip of my tongue.

On top of that there's this rage that boils up like if you have boiling water cover and then boils down like when you remove the cover. I got scared when that rage started building.

overall im scared im getting ready to lose control of myself...of something. but I think im okay. no need to call T. I see her next week...

maybe this is T withdrawl or something. I've gone down to every other week.

thanks...

(((((llt))))))))

just wondering if there have been any changes going on for you recently? that weird energy thing has happened to me a few times when i haven't eaten/slept properly, or when i've changed meds/doses etc.

oh wait - you just said you've gone down to every fortnight with your T (duh, deli - read the post!).

how do you usually handle anger? i find going for a good run helps me out so much, but i enjoy running usually (it grounds me, makes me breathe, focuses me on the present and lets me act out all this pent up aggression). i'm just trying to think of ways of diffusing that energy, so that you feel you have more control over it. it majorly sucks when it's happening.
