I think I had my best T session ever today. I came out of there feeling so good. I have the support that a lot of you gave me on my thread last week to thank for this.

As I said in my other thread, I had gotten stuck in T. My T knew this and asked if I wanted to take a break, change frequency of sessions.... I think that scared me enough so that I really tried to be brave (for me). During the 2 weeks between sessions I wrote everything down that came to mind about this. Last night I read it all and made a list of the things that stood out or repeated a lot.

Anyway, I brought the list to T today and actually read most of it to her. We had a very engaged discussion for the whole 50 minutes. The past few months we were always ending session early 'cause I couldn't think of anything to say. I know for some bringing in a list of personal topics and sharing them with T might not seem like much, but I've never done something like that before. Its a big step for me and I been in T for over 3 years including couples and individual. So, this just felt like a big triumph and I wanted to thank all of you for your support and encouragement!

Yah! I hope the post-T high lasts for awhile

That's wonderful, Lemon! Even if the feelings don't last (feelings can't, they're for information so have to change as circumstances/events change) the memory of all the hard work you put in and good results you got from it will remain and you can build on that, repeat successes like that.

Wow! Congratulations to you for being so brave. I know all to well how hard it can be to just reach out for something and amazing to find a hand meet yours on the other side. The Good T's definately rise with you as climb.

I'm so happy for you. Enjoy! And do something very nice for yourself for being so brave. When I have these landmark session, I always pick up a little something that reminds me of them. It helps to keep that feeling a little more permanent.

You are one gutsy Lemon!
Thanks for this!
